Karl Jacobi, two friends from Freiburg who now live in Cologne and Leipzig, serve up playful techno. Since December 2020, the duo has been releasing music regularly on the labels Duenia, Tiefdruckgebeat, and Club Breton. Their releases are sometimes dark, sometimes dreamy; sometimes they feature vocals or spoken word, and other times they let the synths do the talking. As DJs, they create a groovy, progressive energy in their sets, whether they’re letting loose with hypnotic, melodic, or peak-time techno.
