JELLL

Lolly

Anyone who’s been part of Munich’s underground electronic scene in recent years will probably have heard the name JELLL. The self-styled ‘technopunk’ is no newcomer, but has been part of the scene since the early 90s. Whether as a DJ, live act or event organiser – electronic music has never been a trend for him, but always a passion. After his early years behind the decks, the live project Jay Button and the launch of the Munich party series Kiefercrash, his path led him back to DJing in 2017. He initially found his musical home in indie dance before consistently developing his sound further. Since 2024, hypnotic indie grooves have been fusing with raw, driving techno to create what JELLL calls ‘Technopunk’: an uncompromising blend of melodies, powerful basslines and raw club energy – somewhere between 125 and 132 BPM. His sets thrive on contrasts: melodic and dark, groovy and uncompromising, playful yet full of energy. Not a calculated mainstream sound, but honest club music with character – for dark dancefloors, long nights and people seeking the unexpected.
