Flunder is danceable, emotional and experimental. Like the fish, only less disguised, the musicians drift in different musical waters. Already as a trio, they created music that deals with interpersonal relationships with all their complexity and agitation, based on different points of view. Now as a group of five, the songs gain layers through a broader orchestration and dive into a new timbre. Echoing voices, droning synthesizers, reverberating basses and sustaining electric viola sounds give the words their added depth. Triphop grooves and breakbeats enliven the songs and make not only the Flunder dance.
